Brief History
We have been operating since 1999 and have always strived to live up
to our motto :
‘Observing NOT Disturbing’.
We are a black empowered company, with all members being local and
active in the daily running of the business.
‘Miroshca’ is a luxury, custom-built whale watching catamaran, complying with all safety regulations as set out by the authorities. Licensed to carry 70 passengers + 5 crew.
The Vessel
- Miroshca, a luxury catamaran, was launched in Cape Town on 14th November 2007
- Licensed to carry 70 pax + 5 crew.
- The safety and comfort of passengers is primary, the catamaran design was chosen for superior stability.
- Every safety feature is encompassed in the fixtures, from dual propulsion to dual steering, dual navigation equipment, dual dc charging systems, electronic early warning fire monitors and remote controlled engine room fire extinguishers.
- Miroshca complies fully with the SA Maritime Safety Association
Passenger Comfort
- Seats are provide for all passengers.
- Enclosed areas for protection from sea spray, weather conditions, while travelling.
- Retractable, transparent blinds to give the option of open-air freshness in good sea conditions.
- Surround-sound public address system for optimum communication by the specialist guide on board.
- Twin hulls of the catamaran provide optimum stability.
- Modern toilets on board.
- Licensed refreshment bar and galley on board.

- 4 different viewing levels allow all passengers best viewing
- Passengers also have the option of walking around the outside areas of the vessel
The crew
Our boat and shore crew consist of qualified skippers, whale watching specialist guide, tour guides, mechanics, etc.. All our crew are dedicated to the marine environment and conservation thereof.
