Daily departures from our private floating jetty in the Hermanus New Harbour.
Our permit entitles our vessel to approach the whales up to 50m, we then stop and the decision is left entirely to the whales whether or not they wish to approach the boat – being curious creatures, they usually come right up to our boat. It is definitely ‘an experience to be treasured.

Details of our boat trips are as follows :
Duration :approx. 1hr 30m - max. 3hrs (depends on travelling
time to the whales on that trip)
Duration of trip is normally about 2hrs.
What we usually encounter : Southern Right Whales,
seals, penguins and marine birds. We are fortunate enough to
encounter dolphins, Bryde’s (our resident whale throughout the year
– and Humpback whales on certain of our trips. We have even spotted
Orcas this year already during our Sundowner cruise.
